My Wifi Gets Disconnected Again and Again Android When Idle

ive noticed that recently when my telephone has its screen off and has been idle for a while that i get asunder from my wifi router only so reconnected again when i use my phone for like 5 sec. whats upwardly with this? i have a sprint gs3 with 4.1.1

Goto settings>wireless & networks click card goto advanced and set the wifi sleep policy too never get off when comatose it'south meant to save battery but is super annoying

Similar the post above said you can it by going to settings > tap on your wifi (like if you were looking to select your network) > card then advanced. Selection is there.

i am not i of the pros on this site simply i did have this samw problem with my data connectedness leaving anytime my phone screen would close off at that place is an app if yous accept put go launcher on your phone it shuts off all data to save power called become ability master in this app if y'all have it on your telephone or whatsoever other power saving mod is probly where you lot need to cheque forthese settings

Get To Settings, tap WiFi. Tap the carte du jour push button. Advanced should exist there.

Another piddling trick is to disable wifi power saving mode. Open up your dialer and input: *#0011# then press the menu cardinal, and choose wifi, then tap the little button that says "on", it'll restart wifi and the ability save way volition be disabled. I'm not exactly certain what the power saving mode does, but it doesn't say "preparing network" every bit often equally it used to.

Your Wi-Fi screen looks different than mine, but yous tin can attempt pressing the Card push button, select Advanced and look for an option named 'Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep' - prepare it to 'Always'.

Did Wi-Fi ever work correctly?
